Hello ICPF Partners,
This year was full of exciting projects, new partnerships, and continued progress for the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF). We are excited to share ICPF’s 2024 Year in Review Report and invite you to join us in reflecting on the ongoing efforts and initiatives that have defined the work done by ICPF this past year. All goals and objectives work to fulfill our mission to grow the workforce of the corrugated packaging industry now and into the future.
ICPF is proud of the momentum we’ve built to address the workforce needs of the corrugated packaging industry. By following our Strategic Road Map, we’ve developed and implemented ongoing strategies to strengthen existing programs, initiate outreach, increase industry awareness, and evaluate impactful partnerships. We’re happy to share that we’ve achieved and made progress toward many of the foundation’s short-term objectives within each of the four road map pillars. Here are just a few of the year’s highlights:
- Expanding Outreach: ICPF released a brand-new version of our Corrugated Industry Curricula, a comprehensive, engaging resource for educators and students, now available in five interactive video modules. We are also proud to announce a $50,000 grant program in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, which will fund scholarships for students pursuing a machine operator or maintenance technician degree pathway in corrugated packaging.
- Increasing Industry Awareness Through New Partnerships: Part of ICPF’s approach to increase awareness of the corrugated packaging industry is working to change the narrative so younger students learn and know about the many amazing careers that exist. This year, we secured a multi-year partnership with Project Learning Tree, an SFI Initiative through which we’ll develop relevant academic materials that will help introduce current students in grades 3-12 to #CareersInCorrugated.
- Digital Transformation: In addition to a reinvigorated presence on a variety of social media platforms, ICPF rebuilt its website and launched a new, modernized environment at www.careersincorrugated.com. The site offers a trusted platform where younger generations can discover rewarding careers across the industry.

Momentum is the result of continuous effort and collaboration, and your partnership is a cornerstone of our continued success. In 2025, we are eager to build on this momentum knowing that, together, we are making a lasting impact on the future of the corrugated packaging industry.
