Engage Local Middle & High School Students with ICPF’s Latest Employer Toolkit

Outreach to local students is one of the best ways to increase community awareness of your plant and secure a new talent pipeline. To help jumpstart your connections with schools, students, and educators in your area, ICPF has created a new toolkit and compilation of resources to supplement your recruitment strategies: Visit a Local Middle/High School.

The toolkit includes a sample message to educators to help introduce your organization and facilitate conversations between your hiring team and relevant academic programs, as well as two options for hands-on activities that can be brought to the classroom. Both activities offer students the opportunity to work directly with corrugated materials, compete for prizes, and learn more about the industry behind the boxes they see every day.

Click through ICPF’s toolkit pdf to access customizable presentation materials, a list of necessary supplies, and resources to help keep students connected with career opportunities in the corrugated packaging industry. These materials, approved and refined by educators and career counselors, allow the next generation of talent to explore the creative and practical applications of our industry.

To all of our valued ICPF Partners, we hope you take advantage of this toolkit, and other ICPF resources, for use in your recruiting efforts. Click here to access the Toolkit. You can also find this recruitment resource and others on ICPF’s website here.
