ICPF Releases New Workforce Development Report to Enhance Efforts to Attract, Retain and Develop Talent

The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) is delighted to release a brand-new Workforce Development Report, intended to provide ideas and resources to help industry companies attract, retain and develop a talented workforce in today’s competitive environment.

Each quarter, ICPF will include relevant resources, case studies and articles providing examples, best practices and ideas that can be incorporated into your current workforce playbook.

Successful organizations share a few common elements, but perhaps the most important indicator of achievement is having the right people. The report is organized into two main sections: finding talent and retaining talent. Under finding talent, company hiring and talent acquisition employees can find information on developing talent pipelines, optimizing the hiring process and leveraging onboarding for candidate success. The retaining talent section focuses on continuous learning and development opportunities, supervisory training and leadership development and company culture.

You also don’t want to miss a callout to helpful resources throughout this quarter’s edition including a Workforce Development Playbook by the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership and ICPF’s own recruitment and retention resources.

Please share this with HR and hiring managers at your companies. They can also contact us directly to be included in future ICPF Workforce Development Report release communications. Reach out to [email protected] or [email protected] to be added to our mailing list.
